We are a dog training business located in the heart of Las Cruces, NM. Our trainers have worked closely with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. Our trainers only use positive reinforcement based training techniques, "dominance theory" is an outdated form of training and positive reinforcement training works on creating a bond between you and your dog. You can visit the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviorists for more information on the debunking of dominance theory. Our classes are designed to meet the needs of any student and any situation. Group classes are recommended for the majority of dogs, we also offer private lessons which are perfect for those dogs who don't do well with other dogs or have a specific behavior to address. 

Our obedience classes are designed to help people who are interested in getting their dog into therapy work, becoming a service dog, wanting Canine Good Citizen testing (STAR puppy and CGC/CGCA/CGCU) or just want a well behaved dog. Cloud K-9 cannot certify for therapy/visitation or service dog, but can help you along the way to meet your goals.
